NTIA and RUS recently jointly released the Notice of Funding Availability (NoFA), which specifies rules for a significant portion of the $7.2 billion provided by Congress for the expansion of broadband access and adoption to unserved and underserved communities across the country. RUS will distribute funds through its Broadband Initiatives Program (BIP) and NTIA through its Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP).
