CYBERSECURITY
Today’s cyber ecosystem is a highly complex universe consisting of a global set of stakeholders. Only through cooperation and coordinated efforts can effective information sharing and cyber threat mitigations be successfully attained.
Telecommunications carriers play a central – but not exclusive – role in this diverse ecosystem, where the actions of independent entities directly impact other stakeholders in the cyber world.
To help promote greater cyber awareness and outreach, USTelecom has partnered with the DHS National Cyber Security Division to develop this cyber security reference page. Here you will find links to federal government Web sites that describe the latest cyber threats and Best Practices for all categories of communications providers.
Pubic Private Partnerships
The National Cyber Security Alliance is a public-private partnership with the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Trade Commission, and many private-sector corporations and organizations. NCSA offers resources for cyber security awareness and education for home user, small business, and education audiences.
