Robert Mayer Tapped for NSTAC Task Force July 25th, 2008

USTelecom is very pleased to announce that our own Robert Mayer has been selected as the Vice-Chair of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee’s Core Assurance Task Force. The task force will work with the Department of Homeland Security and the White House to report on security and resiliency issues associated with the nation’s telecommunications infrastructure. Robert is not the only member of the USTelecom team participating in NSTAC’s efforts to bring industry and government together to ensure the availability and reliability of communications services in times of emergency; USTelecom President and CEO Walter B. McCormick is a principal on the committee, and Vice President for Engineering and Technology Tom Soroka advises the group on technical matters.
