Executive Assistant

USTelecom seeks an experienced, Executive Assistant.  Reporting to the Executive Director of Operations, the position provides administrative support to the Executive Office including the President & CEO and the Executive Director of Operations.  Responsibilities include:  scheduling and maintaining a series of complex calendars, monitoring the Executive Office budgets, invoices, and expenditures, managing records and files, and drafting/processing correspondence and reports.  In addition, under the director of the Executive Director, assists in coordination, recordkeeping, and logistics for the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and related entities.  The position requires a high level of independent initiative, discretion, judgment and excellent administrative office skills. 

Successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a position supporting a high level business executive; has a full understanding of the administrative management required of the office of busy executives working in a fast-paced environment; will  possess excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks within a rapidly changing work environment.  Outstanding computer skills are essential.  Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are also required. Previous trade association experience would be an asset.
