Director of Communications: The Director of Communications will join a fun, creative, and passionate team that strategically works to advance the association’s goals around the future of connectivity. The director will be highly motivated, super curious, an excellent writer, well-organized, proactive, and flexible, with the ability to work simultaneously on various complex matters. Senior Director – Policy: The Senior Director will work with the Senior Vice President for Policy to anticipate where the communications policy environment and marketplace are headed to better understand, anticipate and develop the industry’s agenda and priorities for the long term; support current Association priorities through research and cross-team collaboration; and support USTelecom’s efforts, including the Common Sense Copyright Coalition. Communications Intern: USTelecom is seeking to hire an intern to assist the Communications Department in a variety of activities that help the team reach key audiences and promote the value of broadband connectivity. The intern will work under the direction of the Department head for up to 30 hours per week. Days and hours are flexible based on the candidate’s schedule and the needs of the Department. Cybersecurity Intern: USTelecom is seeking to hire an intern to assist the Cybersecurity Department in a variety of research activities that result in written reports or presentation materials. The intern should be able to review and summarize cybersecurity, technology, and policy issues; produce charts, graphs, and spreadsheets; develop PowerPoint presentations; assist with research and fact gathering; and perform other duties as assigned.
