Account Administrator: USTelecom is seeking an Account Administrator to support its nationally recognized Industry Traceback Group (ITG) to trace, identify the source of, and ultimately stop illegal robocalls. USTelecom leads the ITG, a collaborative effort of companies from across the communications industry that works to actively combat illegal robocalls. The ITG specializes in tracebacks, a semi-automated network-based process to determine the source of illegal robocalls defrauding consumers and to work with voice service providers to stop them at the source. Cybersecurity Intern: USTelecom is seeking to hire an intern to assist the Cybersecurity Department in a variety of research activities that result in written reports or presentation materials. The intern should be able to review and summarize cybersecurity, technology, and policy issues; produce charts, graphs, and spreadsheets; develop PowerPoint presentations; assist with research and fact gathering; and perform other duties as assigned. Policy & Advocacy Intern: USTelecom is seeking a paid intern to assist the Policy & Advocacy Department in a variety of research and writing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in communications technology policy and the role it can play in closing the digital divide and creating economic opportunity. Key responsibilities will include synthesizing filings in proceedings at the Federal Communications Commission and Federal Trade Commission; drafting regulatory pleadings; assisting with research and fact gathering for advocacy positions; and performing other duties as assigned. Working virtually, the intern will work closely with our team of policy professionals for approximately 30 hours per week.
