USTelecom Elects New Leadership to Board of Directors and Leadership Committee

Blackfoot Communications CEO Jason Williams will Chair Board of Directors

Washington, D.C.—Today, USTelecom | The Broadband Association, the leading association of connectivity providers and innovators, announced new officers and additions to its Board of Directors and Leadership Committee.

The Board of Directors elected the following new officers:

Chair: Jason Williams, CEO, Blackfoot Communications, Missoula, Montana

Vice Chair: Jeff England, CFO, Silver Star Communications, Freedom, Wyoming

Secretary: Melissa Mann, Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy, Lumen

Treasurer: Russell “Rusty” Moore, General Manager and COO, BBT, Alpine, Texas

New members serving on the Board of Directors include Tom Maguire, COO and incoming CEO, Brightspeed and Harold Zeitz, CEO, Ziply Fiber.

USTelecom’s Leadership Committee, comprised of leaders from regional and local broadband providers, elected the following officers:

Chair: Jennifer Prather, CEO of Totelcom Communications, De Leon, Texas

Vice Chair: Becky Scott, president EPICTOUCH, Elkhart, Kansas

Secretary: Josh Descant, CEO of REV, Gonzales, Louisiana

The Leadership Committee also welcomed new members, AJ Brown, Chief Legal Officer, Lumos and Kristi Westbrock, CEO/GM of CTC.
